Education:
PhD candidate (Astronomy and Astrophysics), Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, University of Chicago, 2030 (expected)
B.Tech (Electronics and Communication), Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, 2024.
I hold a BTech in Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Electromagnetics. I have extensive experience in Antenna/RF/microwave instrumentation, analog/digital electronics, and vacuum/cryogenic systems. My expertise spans signal processing, pipeline development, for various domains of astronomy, including mm- and submm-wave Astronomy, Radio Astronomy, and Stellar Astronomy.
I am currently focused on mm and sub-mm wave instrumentation that probes the high-redshift universe, working on experiments aimed at improving our understanding of the early universe and its physics.
I have contributed to both engineering and scientific endeavors, leading or actively participating in projects such as APSERa, GMRT, ESPaDOnS, and CU-ST Radar. For further details, please visit my major projects page for more information.
Responsibilities: Taught Master and Bachelor Students, analysis procedures of Chemically Peculiar Stars.
