The Greater Houston Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association Charitable Foundation will announce the awarding of their 2025 group of Dan Ledermann Memorial scholarships at the Annual Barbecue and general membership meeting in May, 2023[CF1] .  Forty plus scholarships have been awarded annually in the amount of $1,000. Beginning in 2020, the award amount was increased[CF2]  to $2000. Number [CF3] of scholarships awarded is based on amount of donations received.  Applications are available through GHLBMDA members or through LAT.   The purpose of the Dan Ledermann Memorial Scholarship fund is to grant educational scholarships to deserving individuals whose families are associated with the Houston Area Lumber and Building Material Industry and the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas.  The scholarships are meant to promote giving back to our local industry.  GHLBMDA members will distribute and oversee the paperwork involved with the applications. The 2025 application submission deadline is March 31st, 2025.
