Establishing a scholarly identity involves clearly defining your research focus, articulating how your work contributes to the field (impact), and making those contributions visible and recognizable to others (building your platforms).
This includes developing a coherent research agenda, building a publication and research profile (e.g., Google Scholar, ResearchGate, LinkedIn, personal website), and consistently presenting your work across professional platforms.
See: How to Establish My Scholarly Identities? (last updated March 3, 2026).
