Interacting with nature!
Hi, I'm Carlos, a PhD candidate in the Biology Department at The University of Vermont. I am a wildlife ecologist with a special interest in birds, insects, and small mammals. My overarching research question is how species interact with their physical environment. My current research focuses on tick-borne prevalence in Vermont, examining the circulation of pathogens between ticks and small mammals and how habitat and environmental variables influence this.
Apart from research, I enjoy watching football, listening to music, and talking to my family back home. This is my first GIV, and I am excited to learn new things.
