I am from Tehran, Iran, and currently a second-year Ph.D. candidate at the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas (CIMAT) in Mexico, working under the supervision of Professor Luis Núñez-Betancourt, with Professor Javier Carvajal-Rojas as my co-advisor. I obtained my master’s degree from the University of Tehran, where I worked under the supervision of Professor Seyed Fakhari. Besides mathematics, I enjoy cooking, camping, traveling, and playing the Kamancheh, a traditional Persian string instrument.
My research interests are in commutative algebra and its interactions with algebraic geometry and combinatorics. I am particularly interested in D-modules, F-modules, F-thresholds, tight closure, Castelnuovo–Mumford regularity, and symbolic powers. Currently, I am focusing on understanding the relationship between the differential core and the Cartier core.
