Early Life - Ghantus Wael, an actor dancer and performer from Galilee, was born in 1988 in the little town of Sakhnin under the Name of Ghantus Wael Ghantus.
He found passion in Performing Arts from a young age, participating in several projects in primary and elementary schools which only drove his passion to grow more and more.
Education - As he searched for a way to convince His Parents to allow him to study what he loves Ghantus passed through an interesting journey, studying Turkish in Istanbul for a year, passing by Architecture school back Home, to Chef School for 3 years by the Sea of Galilee and lastly to the Drama Academy for Acting and Performing Arts in Ramallah in the West Bank. There after convincing His Parents that this is the Place he was born to be. He gave all his unrelenting Energy and Time to learn His Craft, absorbing every method out there.
He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors' Degree in Acting and Performing Arts from Folkwang University in Essen - Germany.
Ghantus participated in several workshops with different theatres, both local and international, such as “Gardzienice” Theatre from Poland, with the director Wlodzimierz Staniewski.
Career - After Graduation life was even more challenging, especially for a guy like Ghantus who came from a different region and without any backup from any theaters. He needed to create a social network from scratch, until getting his first project, a children's play "Rumpelstiltskin." Along the way Ghantus performed in several Plays for children and a Short Film on Netflix called "The Crossing".
Arriving to the Freedom Theatre, he acted in "The Siege" where he performed in several cities before the finalé in New York.
Since 2019 life took a different direction with the political situation and Covid-19, Henceforth from 2020 he had a stable job in couture giving him the chance to watch life from different angles watching and listening to people, Life wasn't easy but it was rich with experiences of new tools to carry in my next journey.
Lately the actor had a workshop with one on the biggest directors in the Arab world RashaSharbatji , finishing one of a three courses in Acting for cinema and television.
