Ghana debates

Welcome! This site contains photographs, videos and transcripts of parliamentary debates held in Ghana ahead of the December 2016 parliamentary and presidential elections. This information was collected in three constituencies in the Central region -- Effutu, KEEA and Mfantseman. Click on the names of these constituencies at the top to watch the debates from these constituencies.

The information here relates to a research project that investigates the impact of debates on voters attitudes. The project was conducted by Sarah Brierley, Eric Kramon and George Ofosu.

The debates were organized by CDD-Ghana and Ghana's National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE).

The research project was funded by the International Growth Center and the APSA Centennial Fund.
