Dr. Amit Kumar Deval

Dr. Amit Kumar Deval is navigating through the profession of Librarianship from more than last two decades with rich and varied experience of working in top-notch institutes/organizations of Government of India. Dr. Deval rendered his valuable services in libraries of Indian Bureau of Mines, Nagpur (Ministry of Coal and Mines, Government of India), Parliament Library, New Delhi (Lok Sabha Secretariat, Government of India) and at present working as Deputy Librarian in Level 13-A. Prior joining the GGSIP University as Assistant Librarian in June 2005, Dr. Deval has cumulative experience of 25+ years of Librarianship.Dr. Deval has worked in almost all the sections of libraries to hone his professional skills and also to be an expert team member of UIRC. An ardent advocate of ICT application and value based services in libraries, Dr. Deval has been instrumental in establishing an "State of the Art East Campus Library" at Surajmal Vihar Campus of GGSIP University at New Delhi. Many times, Dr. Deval, being Assistant Librarian at that point of time, also held additional charges of other Deputy Librarians assignments (Online Resources and Automation w.e.f. February 2014 to May 2015; April 2022 to September 2022) ; (Periodical Section w.e.f. September 2012 to October 2019) ; (Law Library w.e.f. April 2011 to July 2016) with smiling face.

Dr. Deval has an outstanding academic record and First Rank Holder in School of Studies in Library and Information Science, Jiwaji University, Gwalior and accordingly honored with Two (02) Gold Medals in getting first rank in Entire SoS in LIS and the entire Faculty of Arts, Jiwaji University Gwalior. Dr. Deval also earned recognition in passing PGDCA programme with Distinction and also of qualifying UGC-NET exam before qualifying Post Graduate programme of University. Dr. Deval Ph.D. work revolve around the hot topic button of today's librarianship i.e. Comparative study of uses of Print Vs. Digital Information resources amongst the users of academic world. As a prolific scholar, Dr. Deval authored 28 publications, till date and presented his scholarly output at numerous national and international conferences and published widely in peer reviewed national and international journals. He has to his credit one authored books and one editorial books on the topic "A Practical Dose to dewey Decimal Library Classification" and "Librarianship in ICT Age", respectively. His academic contribution includes 11 journal articles, 05 book chapters, 10 conference proceedings and 02 books.

Being eloquent speaker and having expertise in librarianship, Dr. Deval has been invited for Invited talks and is a leading academic voice in the field of librarianship. Mr. Avradeep Bose

Mr. Bose has been employed in his profession for the previous 9 years. He rendered his esteemed services as Assistant Librarian at the Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Port Blair, and at Galgotias University, before to assuming the role of Assistant Librarian at GGS Indraprastha University in 2023.

Mr. Bose has a notable career in the field of library and information science. He has attained First Class honours in the comprehensive 5-year integrated MLIS program at the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. Furthermore, he has achieved distinctions in both his 'O' level course from NIELIT and his PGDLIM course from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. Md. Nasir Ali

Md. Nasir Ali is an energetic and dedicated library professional currently overseeing the Circulation Services at the East Campus Library of GGSIPU. Alongside his primary responsibilities, he actively contributes to the management of other in-house operations, always with a positive attitude and a welcoming smile.

He holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, complemented by a Diploma in Computer Applications. With over 15 years of professional experience, Mr. Ali brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Before joining GGSIPU, he served as the Librarian at Aster Public School in Greater Noida.
