Candidates must possess or be eligible to hold a valid teaching certificate in early childhood education, education, or child/youth development issued by the Nebraska Department of Education.
The lead teacher will be responsible for fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will promote the academic and social emotional growth and development of all children in their care. The lead teacher will plan and implement activities, class projects, field trips, etc. The lead teacher will work collaboratively with parents, the learning center directors, and other teachers to improve students’ experiences and meet teaching goals. This is a full time position beginning in August and ending in May with the potential for summer hours, as well. Responsible for teaching students 3-5 years of age.
Must be at least 18 years old
Coursework or training in early childhood education, education, or child/youth development, is preferred
Previous documented experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years
Knowledge of age appropriate activities for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years
Requires a proficient level of communication skills (oral and written), teamwork and managing conflict
Excellent attention to detail, patience, and teaching skills
First aid and CPR certified
Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
The assistant teacher will support the lead teacher in general supervision of the infant room, and the overall classroom management. The assistant teacher's duties include but not limited to: assisting in the planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of infants; assisting in the teaching of social emotional management and independence; and helping to communicate to parents.

Full-time and part-time staff will need to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our students and support in our happy, warm, and cooperative environment that is inviting, comfortable, and manageable for all of the children and staff. These positions will begin in August and end in May with the potential for summer hours, as well. Responsible for the care and education of children 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

Substitutes will need to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our students and support in our happy, warm, and cooperative environment that is inviting, comfortable, and manageable for all of the children and staff. Substitutes will be called in to work on an 'as needed' basis to perform the duties of the absent teacher or staff. This position will begin in August and end in May with the potential for summer hours, as well. Responsible for the care and education of children 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
