Interview Notice

Applicants for the position of Legal Assistant at the Headquarters of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayats are hereby informed that interviews will be held on Monday, 7th October 2024, at 10:00 AM. The venue is the Head Office: Vikas Bhawan, Sector 62 (Phase 8), SAS Nagar (Mohali), in Conference Hall - 2, on the 2nd floor of the SIRD block. The location can be accessed via Google Maps for your convenience.

Applicants must bring their original documents for verification during the interview.

Corrigendum

In reference to the advertisements published on 07-07-2024 and 10-08-2024 regarding the recruitment of 4 Legal Assistants at Head Quarter and 25 Legal Assistants at the District level for the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat, the following amendments have been made:

The total number of Legal Assistants to be recruited has been revised to 7. The number of posts is subject to change based on the requirements of the department.
All selected candidates will be posted at the Head Office (Vikas Bhawan), Mohali instead of the earlier advertised district-level postings.
The salary for these positions will range between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000, based on qualifications and experience.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to apply for these posts.
The last date for submission of applications has been extended to 16th September 2024.

Note: Applicants who have previously applied for district positions and also meet the eligibility criteria for Headquarters positions will be automatically considered for the Headquarters positions; no reapplication is necessary. Applicants who do not wish to be considered for or are ineligible for the Headquarters position will receive a refund of their application fee. To request a refund, please email your bank account details along with a copy of your payment proof.
