A: Exit hotel by Truist Bank (not by TGIF). You will be on 76th Ave continue straight down 76th Ave until you reach the beach. It's a 10-15 mins walk for those who are able. There is some street parking, for those opting to drive. The service will be brief (10-15 mins).
A: We had a great time with you all and look forward to the next reunion! The planning committee will notify everyone via email and via the Gassaway - Garrison Family Tree Facebook group with where to view and download the reunion photos. We will also send out an evaluation and family data questionnaire to keep in touch and spread the word about future opportunities to connect.

A: Absolutely! We have kids, tweens, and teens registered and plan to help connect family members who may wish to hit a kid, tween, or teen friendly tourist attraction as we get closer to the reunion.
A: Our family reunion is a time to reconnect and recharge, so pack comfortable clothing and shoes! We ask that you wear the family reunion t-shirt to Saturday's BBQ. No fancy clothes required! We anticipate the daily temperature to be in the mid to upper 80s.
We recommend you bring the following items:
swimwear, cover-ups, and beach towels
beach hat or visor
beach footwear (water shoes or flip-flops)
comfortable walking shoes
refillable water bottle to keep hydrated
sunglasses
sunscreen
bug spray/repellent
medications
toiletries
photographs or other family memorabilia to share
hand sanitizer
phone charger
If you're driving and have room in the trunk, we'd appreciate you bringing:
ice chests or coolers
beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys
A: We anticipate it being quite hot and sunny. Daily highs in the mid to upper 80s. Sunglasses, beach hat or visor, and sunscreen are highly recommended. Be sure to bring a refillable water bottle to keep yourself hydrated.
A: Yes, and here's why: To provide an accurate meal count to the caterers and to order the accurate number of t-shirts we need for each guest, we need the funds in advance. The professionals we have contracted with will bill us for the quantities requested and we have to make those payments with the collected reunion fees. The committee has worked hard to maximize the family reunion experience while keeping reunion fees as minimal as possible.
