I am an evolutionary biologist interested in understanding how ecotherms respond to changing environments. In my research, I combine theoretical and empirical approaches to quantify the effects of evolutionary constraints on performance, metabolism, and reproduction in the context of adaptation to changing environments.
I am originally from Barcelona, Spain, but over the years I have lived and/or worked in Finland, Trinidad & Tobago, Panamá, and now Reno, Nevada, in the western United States, where I received my PhD in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology. This June, I will be moving to Atlanta, Georgia, to work with Dr. James Stroud as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
