One Attracting Fixed Point

This is a graph of the same function as the last, but zoomed in considerably.

GPlot thinks the pink color is the one attracting fixed point for this function. The other prominent colors appear very similar to a fixed cycle of order ten. I suspect they correspond to a very slowly repelling cycle.

This reminds me of a Christmas tree. Possibly because I discovered it on Christmas Eve.

This is the same function as the Christmas tree in the previous image but zoomed out considerably. The attracting fixed point , still not obvious here, is a blue-green.
