How We Rank the Songs
Official Radio Posts: This counts every time a song is played on the official GFS Radio. This includes standard radio play posts as well as official artist Takeover Radios!
Listens (Views): Every view on a radio post counts as a listen. The more views a song gets from the community, the higher it climbs!
How We Break Ties: If two songs have the exact same number of views, we look at their total interactions. The artist with the highest number of interactions wins the tie-breaker and gets a bonus of 2,000 listens added to their score.
We DO NOT chart based on your release. We chart based on how many people listened to your track on OUR radio station.
Getting Airplay
Use #GFSradio on your posts so we can discover your music! When featured, your song gets played via a dedicated post on our page. This post is your official radio play. (This includes our standard orange radio, takeover radios, and GFS Radio exclusive releases.)
How Charts Are Ranked
Rankings are 100% data-driven, based strictly on views on OUR page. Data is collected only from the radio post we upload playing your song. Views, likes, or stats on your personal page/rollout DO NOT count toward GFS Radio Airplay chart rankings.
Maximize Your Rank
To move up on our charts, we recommend you campaign and drive traffic directly to OUR radio post of your song. Share our exact post to your story and encourage your fans to listen, send the direct link to friends and fans, and tell them to view/listen on our page. We recommend this because only views on that specific post count toward your chart placement.
To keep our station running smoothly and get your music on air without delays, GFS Radio is updating our single/album cover art requirements. GFS Radio now requires a still, high-quality image cover for all single and album submissions.
Animated & Video Covers: We love animated artwork, but moving or flashing graphics cannot be used on our radio/airplay posts.
What to Do: If your release only uses a video or animated cover, you must DM us a high-resolution still image of the artwork.
Please Note: Providing a still image does not guarantee airplay, but submissions without one cannot be considered.
