다산경제관 32318B에 있는 Global Finance Research Center(GFRC)는 국가연구개발비 기초연구과제(글로벌형) 지원을 받는 융복합 실험실입니다.

GFRC는 노벨경제학상 수상자 및 국제저명 SSCI학술지 편집장을 비롯한 해외석학을 참여연구진 및 자문위원으로 초빙하여, 글로벌 공동교육과 국제협력연구를 통한 융합형 학문후속세대 인재를 양성합니다. 인문사회와 이공분야를 통섭하는 다학제 접근으로, 사회과학 의제를 이공학 방법론 활용하여 해결하는 복합학 연구를 수행합니다. AI, Big Data, Block-Chain, Deep Learning, Econophysics, Fintech, Machine Learning을 활용하여, 경제학과 재무금융 연구를 뛰어넘는 새로운 패러다임을 제시합니다.

GFRC는 인공지능 기반 융복합 국가연구과제 연구수행을 위해, 대형 서버와 고성능 연산장치를 탑재한 연구기자재를 다수 보유하고 있으며, 초고빈도 빅데이터 저장장치 및 해외 연구기관과의 실시간 연구논의를 위한 다양한 장비를 갖추고 있습니다. 참여연구진의 절반이 이공계열 전공자로 구성되어 있으며, 연구원의 안전, 연구실의 보안, 기자재 관리, 연구환경유지를 위한 실험실안전관리비를 집행합니다.

본교의 성균노벨상 후보 후원 project의 일환으로, GFRC의 해외 명문 파트너大와 연계하여, 박사후 연구원과 대학원생은 물론, 인문사회 및 이공계열 학부생에게 세계 최정상급 대학원을 능가하는 국제저명학술지 연구 성과를 창출할 기회를 제공합니다.
