Description:
The Republic Navy is a serious heavy RP based regiment that is tasked with operating systems on our bases and ships, as well as keep some of the troopers in check as they often help Shock Troopers with on base tasks. Members of Navy also set up FOBs in the field, along with other heavy artillery and communications systems.
They are experts in operating and piloting screen ships and Venator-class Star Destroyers. Members of Navy are also able to help with protection of members of fleet while on base.
The Republic Navy is incredibly large and has 2 sub divisions in it:
The Republic Intelligence Sector or "RIS". RIS is tasked with doing internal and external investigations on troopers or members of fleet to investigate corruption or spies among our ranks. They are also tasked with going undercover to investigate clones or others in the galaxy and do surveillance.
Their second sub division is The Republic Engineering and Science Team or "REST". REST specialize in the engineering and science field of the republic, trusted with performing crucial repairs on cruisers and reactors.
BACKGROUND LORE
The Galactic Republic Navy, also known as the Galactic Republic Fleet, Clone Starfleet, or Republic Starfleet, was the navy of the Republic Military of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Consisting of an abundance of warships of large variety, the Republic Navy served to transport the Grand Army of the Republic across the galaxy, while also engaging in ship-to-ship combat with the Confederacy navy, maintaining security for Republic supply lines, and defending the Core Worlds.
