With very limited training (due to a breeding injury) and hauling, Elvis is already a barrel money earner, including placing in the only futurity I entered him in. From the very first time I took him anywhere, this guy came into the arena and did business. Every time I entered that gate, I know Elvis is there, wanting to do his job and focus at the task at hand. He was a natural on barrels and has a gritty attitude that I haven't seen in many horses. Not only does he run barrels, but he's earned his keep at the ranch. He's cowy and will not back down from a cow. He's a favorite to use on those all day rides with his rocking horse lope, sorting cows and if you need to rope a calf, you know he's going to catch them. I can't stress enough that if you show this horse a job, he shows up to DO his job. Doesn't matter if he's tired and had a hard days ride, he'll bare down and prove to anyone just how much heart he really has. I've breakawayed a little on him and I have yet to have a horse break to the pin as hard and fast as him in such a short amount of training. He gave me a shot right out of the box every time. He's a versatile horse and wants to please!

'Pip' was bred, born and raised right here on the ranch. He is sired by our senior sire, LS Straight Talk. Pip has just been a cool horse to have. He's so intelligent and willing to anything for you. His dam, Nobody Baby Ashwood, passed away a couple years ago. She was my go to mare for everything.

Pip has been proving his keep with the outstanding offspring so far. 2015 was his first foal crop. I've heard great things from foal owners so far that their horses sired by him are very smart and want to please.

He is double registered with AQHA and FQHA at 90.62%!

"Kit Kat" may be little, but packs a dynamite combination of attributes! If you are looking to add some body and catty moves to you mare, this is your guy! At the beginning of 2023 Kit Kat suffered a catastrophic injury and to the surprise of multiple vets, he not only pulled through but did so in record time! He recovered from a collapsed lung, fluid in his chest, multiple broken ribs, and severe lacerations from shoulder to hip. If there is one thing this young stud is not lacking, it is sheer will. He is one tough cookie and recovered from all that in under a months time, earning him the recipient of the Survivor of the Year from the NDVMA. He is so quiet natured but obviously has tenacity and spirit. 

Kit Kat entered the show arena in late summer 2024. Earning AQHA point in reining and ranch riding. Don't pass him over for your speed mares, either! A lot of the top horses in the industry are cow bred on top. Blazin Jetolena, Frenchmans Guy, and A Smooth Guy (cow top and bottom) just to name a few! These crosses have dominated the industry and will continue to do so in the years to come.

Roller and Shaker was bred not by mistake but by careful study of what we felt the Barrel and Rodeo Horse Industry needed. We wanted to develop a bloodline that was not only unique but also very proven in the barrel and rodeo world.  We began looking at NFR barrel stallions from the past and trying to find ones that were very successful from years gone by.  We really liked MAUDIES JOAK. He was a 5-Time NFR Qualifier and World Champion Barrel Horse with Connie Combs. He also sired 2x NFR Qualifier Suak. Maudies Joak was an own son of Joak who is by Joe Reed II and out of an own daughter of Leo. His performance record and pedigree was just what we were looking for. He is the only stallion to win the WPRA World Championship and still holds the record for never hitting a barrel at the NFR. His Dam produced 2 half brothers that were AQHA Supreme Champions. He had sired only around 100 registered AQHA foals so there was a very small amount out there to compete with and even fewer still alive.  We were able to find 5 daughters that were still alive and we bought three of them!

Next we had to find a very successful stallion that was also unique to the world from a pedigree standpoint and not over bred to the point that everybody had one.  We found Bogies Biankus. He was the perfect cross. He was a NFR barrel horse and was a 5x Columbia  River circuit Finals Champion and also sired two CNFR world champions and most recently, the 2017 NFR Qualifier Bogie Is A Smash piloted by Taci Bettis.  Bogies Biankus is by Biankus who sired many great horses including NFR Barrel Horses Captain Biankus and Bogies Biankus. He had the pedigree, conformation, and record to produce a stallion.

With NFR connections on the top and bottom, Shaker would be a great addition to any program!

Bred by current AQHA President Stan Weaver and his wife Nancy, excellent breeders with an eye for a horse with a future, “Hooey” is pure Dakota through and through. His top side has all the South Dakota Cowan superstars – Sun Frost (Docs Jack Frost) and my nostalgic favorite, Boon Dox John. On the bottom we pull in the North Dakota legend, Mr Blackburn, a true-blue cow horse producing superstar. SNW Northern Frost took those two performance bloodlines to the roping pen and pasture. While he is a “Big 4” rope horse, roping both ends as well as tie-down and breakaway, he really made his mark as a ROM Heeling Horse underneath JD Yates. Take that performance and throw in the deep, gorgeous dun color, big hip, solid bone and pretty little head and you’ve got yourself a boyfriend who will have a calendar full of dates. Hooey is just old enough to have some horses out there making a name for him, including Northern Goldmine and Kit McCall Miller. Kit and Cricket are burning up the barrel pen up north as well as down in AZ. Kit has also ridden for Deb and Bill Myers so knows quality when she sees and “feels” it.
