The event is part of a series of thematic programs organized by the Departmental Center for Training and Research, established in 2023 within the Department of Mathematics Federigo Enriques of the University of Milan. It is partially funded by FIS 2 Starting Grant SiGmA - Singularities in Geometric Analysis: Minimal Surfaces and Mean Curvature Flows.

Goals

The aim is to bring together leading mathematicians working in different fields of Geometric and Functional Analysis, while also fostering interactions with PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.

Research areas

Geometric and functional inequalities, geometric analysis, geometric measure theory, geometric flows, and minimal surfaces, from both local and nonlocal perspectives.
