So, you want to be an official member of the Global Furry Agency Headquarters. Before you do that, there are a few things we expect all users of the site to know, and the process to join is a little less intuitive than you'd initially expect. This guide will hopefully make both aspects as clear as can be.
There are quite a few important guidelines that members need to follow when engaging with the GFAH Section of Robloxiapedia. Here are some key points to keep in mind:
Use your Original Character, not yourself: This is Rule Zero, as this is what GFAH is about. Before joining, you are required to make an Original Character (or OC in short), you are to make it so that it doesn't relate to you or the real world. Note that using other OC for malicious intent is counted as impersonation and can lead to consequences if caught.
Respect is Key: This rule is simple and common—treat your fellow site members with respect. Avoid rudeness, harassment, personal attacks, or any form of discrimination. Instead of saying something like "your article sucks," take a moment to provide constructive feedback. Remember, there are many ways to be considerate and supportive, and it’s essential to foster a positive environment.
No Vandalism: This point ties back to the first. Vandalism involves making unauthorized or disruptive changes to someone else's article. In layman's terms, altering another user’s work without their permission is not allowed. Minor fixes like correcting a typo are acceptable, but adding unnecessary content or changing existing text without consent is not.
Roleplay and Set the Stage: While you don't have to adopt the GFA universe lingo in every conversation, feel free to embrace your character if you wish! Participating in this community can mean stepping into the role of either your character in a scene or a stage technician prepping the scene, so get creative within the framework you enjoy.
Understanding Termination: If you find yourself on the wrong side of Legal GFAH Personnel (those with Council or High Table/Administrator Rank), it might mean your character has been ‘terminated’ from the Agency due to potential violations within the universe. However, this doesn’t mean you’re cut off from the project entirely. Your character may now play a role as an enemy instead. In severe cases, this could lead to excommunication due to serious infractions.
The rules of this division of Robloxiapedia and the procedures that govern it are made to help the Fandom Division run smoothly and make the user's experience as comfortable as can be, so it would only make sense for the users to be able to see what happens and have a say in the proceedings.
