What: A large scale Flamingo Flocking

Where: The Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School district

When: Friday, April 23- Sunday, May 2

Why: To raise money to help defray the cost for the band, orchestra, and choir to travel to and perform at Walt Disney World in 2022.

Local business, families, and music students will sponsor flocks of pink flamingos that will be placed on selected yards within the school district. For information on sponsorship click here.

The recipients can choose not to play and have the flamingos removed or they can pay $20 for us to remove the flock and place it on a yard of our choosing or for a donation of more than $20 they can pick the address where it will be moved. At anytime before or during the event individuals can be placed on the Flock-Me-Not list or if they would like to support the band but don't want the flamingos to visit their yard they can purchase Flocking Insurance for a donation of $25 or more to assure the flocks don’t get placed on their yard.

Each flock will have a lead flamingo with a bag around its neck with paperwork printed on hot pink paper explaining the program, paperwork to send the flamingo on, insurance policy information, and the number to contact to have the flock picked up. Accompanying each flock will be a yard sign indicating who is sponsoring the flock.
