When will I get my timetable? 

If you've met all the requirements for your offer, you should be able to enrol from mid-December. Once you've enrolled you'll have access to your individual timetable.

Who will be my personal tutor?

Your personal tutor will be in touch by email and phone in mid-December. They'll let you know what to expect from the first couple of weeks at university, and let you know what day and time your campus induction session is, in the week starting 2 January. 

I think I may have dyslexia or ADHD. What do I do?

If you suspect you have dyslexia, ADHD or another learning difficulty, then get in touch with our dyslexia co-ordinator. She'll help arrange an assessment and can tell you more about the support available. You can find more about dyslexia and getting support here. 

I have a learning difficulty, health problem or disability. Where do I get support?

Our inclusion co-ordinator will be able to help you with Disability Support Allowance. Go here for more information on what to do and who to contact. 

I have a problem with finance / my student loan or maintenance. What do I do?

Come along to our online induction sessions. Our welfare adviser will be there to offer advice and support. If it is urgent, email studentsupport@newman.ac.uk. 

Can I get help with transport?

National Express West Midlands contains information for all travel by bus and coach in the West Midlands, including bus pass information such as the Student Travel card.

If you plan to travel on the train frequently you may want to invest in a young person’s railcard, which gives you 1/3 off your fares, see details here.
