Privacy Policy — GetPrompt

1. Introduction

GetPrompt ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is an AI image-prompt library application developed and published by Nevrik. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. By installing or using GetPrompt, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

This policy is written to reflect the actual technical components used inside the App (analytics, push notifications, advertising, and image hosting), so that it stays accurate as the App is reviewed by Google Play.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information collected automatically

When you use GetPromptt, certain information is collected automatically through Google's Firebase platform and Google Play Services, including:

• Device information (device model, OS version, language, screen size)

• App usage and interaction data (screens viewed, features used, session length)

• Approximate IP-based location (country/region level only — GetPrompt does not request GPS or precise location permission)

• Crash logs and diagnostic data, used to identify and fix bugs

• A unique installation/app instance identifier (Firebase Installation ID) and, where applicable, an Android App Set ID

2.2 Advertising-related identifiers

GetPrompt uses Google AdMob to display ads and may use the Google Advertising ID and Android's Privacy Sandbox APIs (Topics API, Attribution Reporting API) to measure ad performance and, where permitted, personalize ads. See Section 4 for details.

2.3 Push notification data

If you allow notifications, GetPrompt registers your device for push messaging using Firebase Cloud Messaging and the OneSignal push notification service. This creates a device token / subscription ID used solely to deliver notifications (such as new prompt packs or updates) to your device. We do not collect your name, phone number, or contacts through this feature.

2.4 Content you interact with

The prompt text and reference images shown in GetPrompt are stored and served through Cloudinary, a third-party media hosting and content-delivery service. Browsing or favoriting prompts inside the App does not require you to create an account; preferences such as favorites may be stored locally on your device.

2.5 Information we do not collect

• No precise GPS location

• No camera, microphone, contacts, or SMS access

• No government ID, financial, or health information

• No account registration is required to browse or use core features of the App

GetPrompt may also include buttons or links that open external AI tools (for example Gemini or ChatGPT) in your browser or their own app so you can use a copied prompt. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites — please review their respective policies before use.

4. Advertising & Personalization

GetPrompt is supported in part by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. Depending on your device settings, region, and consent choices, ads may be personalized using your advertising identifier or measured using Android's Privacy Sandbox (Topics API and Attribution Reporting API) instead of cross-app identifiers.

Where required by applicable law (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), GetPrompt presents a consent management dialog before loading personalized ads or analytics, so you can choose whether to allow personalized advertising.

5. Notifications

GetPrompt requests notification permission (Android's POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission) so it can let you know about new prompt collections, feature updates, or reminders. This permission is optional — you can decline it when asked, or disable notifications at any time from your device's Settings → Apps → GetPrompt → Notifications. Declining or disabling notifications does not affect your ability to browse or use prompts in the App.

6. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the App's features and content

• To diagnose technical issues and fix crashes or bugs

• To understand which prompts and categories are most useful, in aggregate

• To deliver and measure advertising that helps keep the App free

• To send optional push notifications about new content or updates

7. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. Information described in Section 2 is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 3, strictly to provide the functionality described above (analytics, crash reporting, advertising, push notifications, and content delivery). We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Nevrik, our users, or others.

8. Data Security

We rely on the security infrastructure provided by Google Firebase and our other service providers, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit. While we take reasonable steps to protect information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

Analytics, crash, and advertising data are retained by our service providers (Google, OneSignal) according to their own retention schedules, generally for as long as needed to provide their services or as required by law. Locally stored preferences (such as favorites) remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App.

10. Children's Privacy

GetPrompt is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 14 so we can take appropriate action.

Action item: in Google Play Console, set the App's target audience and content rating accurately. If GetPrompt is not specifically designed for or directed at children, select "No" for "Primarily child-directed" and ensure ads served comply with Google Play's Families Policy requirements where applicable.

11. Your Rights & Choices

• Notifications: Disable anytime from device Settings.

• Advertising ID: Reset or opt out of ad personalization from your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads / Google Settings → Ads.

• Analytics opt-out: You may limit ad tracking and analytics collection through your device's privacy settings.

• Access / deletion requests: If you are located in a region with data protection rights (such as the EEA/UK GDPR or applicable regional laws), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your device by contacting us at the email in Section 14.

• Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data such as favorites from your device.

12. International Data Transfers

Our third-party service providers (Google, OneSignal, Cloudinary) may process and store data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. These providers maintain their own safeguards for international data transfers as described in their respective privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our data practices. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of GetPrompt after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
