Welcome to Getjobs Resume Builder. Your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your information. Unlike many other apps, Getjobs Resume Builder is designed to function entirely locally on your device to ensure your personal data remains under your total control.
We believe that your personal data belongs to you.
Local Storage: All information you enter into the app (such as your name, contact details, work history, and education) is stored locally on your device using the Hive database.
No Cloud Sync: We do not use external servers, cloud storage, or third-party databases to store your information.
Personal Data: We do not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personally identifiable information (PII).
To provide its core functionality, the app requires certain permissions:
Storage/Media Access: The app requires permission to save and download your generated resumes directly to your device's Downloads folder. This process is handled entirely by your operating system's local file manager.
Offline Functionality: The app does not require an internet connection to create, save, or export resumes.
Getjobs Resume Builder does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs that collect user data. However, if you choose to share your downloaded resume via other apps (like Email or WhatsApp), those apps will be subject to their own respective privacy policies.
Because your data is stored locally in a Hive database on your own device, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings (such as passcodes, biometrics, and encryption). We recommend keeping your device updated and secure.
You have full control over your data:
In-App Deletion: You can delete any resume or data point within the app at any time.
App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the app will automatically delete the local Hive database and all associated data stored within the app's private directory. Note that files already exported to your "Downloads" folder will remain there until you delete them manually.
Our app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13, as no data is ever transmitted to us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
