What is Permanent Jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a claspless piece of jewelry that can be applied to your wrist, ankle, or neck by applying a small weld to a jump ring.
Wait! A welder? Isn't that Dangerous?
Yes, permanent jewelry is applied with a welder that allows fragile metals to be welded together in a fraction of a second. The quick spark welds together a jump ring after the client has been sized for the appropriate amount of slack and has a protective patch placed on their skin. The spark that is generated during this process is NOT of high temperature allowing for a quick & safe application.
But, Could this hurt me?
You will not feel a thing, as we are working with the metal - not the skin. There is absolutely no risk to the customer as the welder will only react to metal. Should the customer's skin come in contact with the weld point, the electrode will retract and not generate a spark.
What if I decide I want it removed?
The chains applied during the process are thin enough to last but not thick enough to cause harm to the wearer in the event that it becomes caught on an object. If you need to be remove it for any reason, simply snip with a pair of scissors directly next to the jump ring! If the chain is in good condition and you'd like it back on we can re-weld for a small fee!
Can I get permanent Jewelry for my Child?
Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian present and sign our minor consent waiver. Children must be able to sit completely still and not look at the flash during the process.
