(March 24, 2022) : The foundation of Alta Hospitals System, LLC in 1998 with a primary objective to offer quality, compassionate, and accessible healthcare in Los Angeles and Orange counties marks the beginning of the Alta hospital story. With a combined 339 licensed beds at the time, Alta maintained a network of three acute care hospitals in Los Angeles, Norwalk, and Hollywood (shown left) and a behavioral health institution in Van Nuys, all located in Southern California.

The Reason of Choosing Alta Hospital
Since that watershed moment, CEO at Alta Hospitals System continued to expand our model to include other locations in Southern California and on the East Coast, as well as other countries. In 2007, Southern California Hospital at Culver City (previously known as Brotman Medical Center) was acquired by Coordinated Regional Care.
