Brian O’Boyle was born and raised in northern New Jersey. Over the past decade, Brian has been compelled to draw, paint, build, and create the whimsical, sometimes bizarre, and often quirky characters developed in his imagination. He enjoys making found-object art – taking conventional, every-day (often abandoned) objects, such as skateboards, and street signs – and personifying them into special characters. Each portrait hints to a unique background story that peaks the curiosity of his audiences. Whether 2d or 3d, his body of work possess a sculptural quality layered with various mediums.
Mike Ferrari, also born and raised in New Jersey, lives in Montclair with his wife and two children. Through a visual dissection of would-be lost iconic images of human history, the work revives the past to create a new understanding of our present, using images and patterns working together in harmonious conflict. The work embodies a specific knowledge of taste that falls somewhere between lowbrow elegance and highbrow kitsch.
Luke Waldrum’s works are a delicate blend of his background as a graffiti artist, his love of abstract expressionist artists of NYC, and his time working in advertising. His works range from large-scale paintings on canvas to mixed media and printmaking. He’s currently living in working out of West Orange with his wife Lauren, and five-year-old son, Weston.
