About WMTPA

The Western Maharashtra Tax Practitioners’ Association of popularly called as “WMTPA” (previously known as ITPSTP Association) was established in the year 1981. The WMTPA has its members spread all over the Western Maharashtra Region. We have above 1200 members from Pune, Solapur, Satara, Sangali, Nagar, Junner, Baramati, Bhor, Indapur & Kolhapur etc. Our members include Tax Consultants, Advocates, Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants & Company Secretaries.

The Association organizes various programmes for knowledge sharing and skill development for members, their staff and for the industry.

The association is meant to discuss common problems of professionals and find solutions for the problems by way of representing legal, procedural & administrative issues before the appropriate forums. This Association is also representing various common problems of the Tax Professionals before various forums, from the Additional Commissioners to the Finance Minister of the State as well as the Central Government.
