Advisory Board Member: Jim Werner
"I have been a lifelong resident of German Township. Living on Schaefer Road, just off of Orchard Road. I attended St. Joseph Grade School and Mater Dei High School. Shortly after high school, I joined the German Township Fire Dept. They had just completed the station at St. Wendel Road and Big Cynthiana Road. Work took me out of town for a few years, but upon my return, I moved to my current house on St. Wendel Road, and continued my time on the fire dept. I am married, and have 2 children. My son is currently a Colonel in the USAF, and soon will be stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Alaska. He is married and has blessed me with 2 handsome grandsons. My daughter lives in Fishers with her husband and works in the computer programming industry. Now retired, my hobbies are working on my house, and camping with my wife. Being on the Advisory Board is my way of giving back to the residents of German Township."
