evolutionary ecology of behavioural variation
evolutionary ecology of behavioural variation
Although my background is in behavioral ecology, I prefer to identify as an evolutionary ecologist. My research primarily focuses on behavioral consistency (i.e., animal personality), particularly the evolutionary potential of behavioral variation within and between individuals. More recently, I have also become interested in how environmental stress influences these dynamics. While I work with various model organisms, my favorites remain reptiles and pill bugs.
I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Systematic Zoology and Ecology, of the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, and an associated resercher with the HUN-REN-MTM Integrative Ecology Group. Additionally, I am a János Bolyai Research Fellow of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
