What's next?

I am currently digging into a few areas to expand my own skill set as well as to support my school community.  My top five pieces I am currently working through are:

1. Continued investment in Educational AI Tools and Support

2. Emerging work with bringing Trauma Informed Practices and Compassion into School Libraries

   • It's a start, but I am bringing this forward as Ctrl+Alt+Compassion (a PD session for SLMCs to several upcoming conferences)

3. Working to develop and pilot a potential district solution/continuium for research models focusing on inquiry with other district SLMCs

4. Looking into best practices in station rotations including number of stations and timing of rotations for given ages 

5. Always on the list . . . expanding diverse, authentic voices and clear representation within our library collection with an emphasis on books published in the last 3-5 years to ensure collection relevance and impact.
