How to reach Department of Mathematics Guido Castelnuovo

🚶‍♂️ On foot: walking distance about 10 minutes (800 m).
Directions: Exit the station towards Via Marsala → turn onto Viale Enrico de Nicola → continue on Viale del Castro Pretorio → enter the main gate of Sapienza at Piazzale Aldo Moro.

The Department of Mathematics (INdAM Room) is located inside the university campus. Ask for “Edificio di Matematica”.

🚇 By metro:
Take Metro line B (blue line) in the direction of Laurentina. Get off at Policlinico (2 stops). From there, walk about 5–10 minutes along Viale Regina Elena, then Viale dell’Università.

✈️ From Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

🚆 By train (Leonardo Express):
Take the Leonardo Express train to Roma Termini (direct, approx. 32 min). Then walk or take Metro B (1 stop to Policlinico), and continue on foot.
🚆 Alternative train (cheaper but longer):
Take regional train to Roma Tiburtina. Then take Metro B to Policlinico → walk to the campus.

🍽️ Social Dinner – Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026

The conference social dinner will take place at Saltimbocca, a traditional Roman restaurant located in the historic center.

The area is well connected and easily reachable from most places in the city center.

From Sapienza University / Department of Mathematics
🚇 Take Metro B to Termini → switch to Metro A toward Battistini → get off at Spagna (2 stops).
From there, walk about 12–15 minutes toward Piazza Navona → Via di Tor Millina.
