1. Introduction

GEOTRONICS respects your right to control your personal information. This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can delete their data from the GEOTRONICS mobile application (“App”).

2. What Data May Be Deleted

Users may request deletion of the following data:

• Account information (name, email, user ID)
  
  

• Stored project data (if cloud sync is enabled)
  
  

• Saved control points and coordinates (cloud-based)
  
  

• Associated profile information
  
  

• Authentication credentials stored on our backend
  
  

Local device-stored data is controlled directly by the user and can be removed by uninstalling the app or clearing device storage.

3. How to Request Data Deletion

Option A — In-App Account Deletion (If Available)

If the App includes an account deletion option:

1. Open the GEOTRONICS app
   
   

2. Go to Profile / Settings
   
   

3. Select Delete Account
   
   

4. Confirm deletion
   
   

Your account and associated cloud data will be permanently removed.

Option B — Email Request

If in-app deletion is not available, you may request deletion by email:

Please include:

• Your registered email address
  
  

• Any relevant account information
  
  

We will process verified requests within 7–14 business days.

4. What Happens After Deletion

Once your deletion request is processed:

• Your account will be permanently removed.
  
  

• All associated cloud-stored project data will be deleted.
  
  

• You will no longer be able to access your previous data.
  
  

• Deletion is irreversible.
  
  

5. Data That May Be Retained

Some data may be retained temporarily or permanently if required for:

• Legal compliance under UAE law
  
  

• Fraud prevention
  
  

• Security monitoring
  
  

• Financial or audit requirements (if applicable)
  
  

This retained data will not be used for any commercial purpose.

6. Local Device Data

If you do not use cloud storage, project data may be stored locally on your device.

To remove local data:

• Uninstall the GEOTRONICS app
  OR
  
  

• Go to Device Settings → Apps → GEOTRONICS → Clear Storage
  
  

We do not control locally stored data once the app is removed.

7. Third-Party Services

If you signed in using third-party authentication (e.g., Google Sign-In):

• Deleting your GEOTRONICS account does not automatically delete your Google account.
  
  

• You may manage connected apps inside your Google Account settings.
