S G Infotech ("we," "our," or "us") operates the GeoSnap: GPS Map Camera mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

Our App is designed to help you capture photos overlaid with location-based stamps (such as GPS coordinates, address, map, compass heading, and timestamp). To provide these features, the App requires access to certain device capabilities.

A. Core Permissions & Data Used On-Device

• Location Data (GPS): We request access to your device's location services (fine and coarse location). This is required to determine your coordinates, altitude, digital compass direction, and current address to generate and display the map stamp overlay on your captured photos. This location processing is done entirely on your device. We do not transmit or store your location data on any external servers.

• Camera Access: We request access to your device's camera. This permission is required to capture photos through the App. The camera feed is processed locally and is never shared or uploaded to our servers.

• Storage / Photo Library: We request read/write access to your device's photo library or storage. This is necessary to save your captured geotagged photos to your device’s gallery and to display your captured photos within the App's built-in gallery.

2. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our App or to display maps:

• Google Maps API: The App uses Google Maps API to fetch and render map overlays. Your interactions with the map features are subject to the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

3. Data Storage and Retention

• All photos captured using the App, along with their embedded metadata (EXIF data containing GPS coordinates, address, time, and compass heading), are stored locally on your device.

• We do not collect, upload, store, or have access to your photos or location metadata on any external cloud storage or servers controlled by S G Infotech.

4. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 3. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 3. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
