Homepage of Georgios Politopoulos

Hi! 

My name is Georgios Politopoulos.  In December 2025 I completed my  PhD in a joint program between Cergy-Paris University (France) and Leiden University (Netherlands) under the co-supervision of Adrien Sauvaget and David Holmes, respectively. Then I was a visiting researcher at Leiden University.

In August 2026 I will be a postdoctoral fellow at the Erdős Center of the Rényi Institute in Budapest.

I am interested in the geometry and intersection theory of moduli spaces. In particular, I enjoy working on various themes within the moduli space of (spin) curves such as, (spin) double ramification cycles, (spin) Hurwitz numbers, volumes of strata of differentials, tautological relations.
