Bio
Georgios Papayiannis is currently a Lecturer of Computational Mathematics & Applications in Section of Mathematics at Hellenic Naval Academy (HNA). He is also a member of Stochastic Modelling and Applications Laboratory of Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) while he keeps a research collaboration with the Sustainable Development Unit of ATHENA RC. He holds a PhD from the Department of Statistics, AUEB (Thesis: "Robust Decision Making and Convex Risk Measures Computation", Supervisor: Prof. A. N. Yannacopoulos).

Risk quantification under model uncertainty with applications in environment, finance and insurance
Robust decision making under model misspecification and applications
Statistical learning methods for complex data structures
Statistical shape modelling combining the notion of the Frechet mean and deformable models
