Life in the Mundane

Life in the mundane is a series of photographs documenting the everyday effects of disordered eating and body dysmorphia. The work features me wearing a wearable soft sculpture foreign body made from yarn using crochet techniques. This piece symbolises the disconnect, discomfort and unhappiness people experience in their bodies as a result of the beauty standards which run prevalent in our society.
