Steve is an operator at heart and has over 20 years of experience working with manufactures, fulfillment centers, marketing teams, distributors and B2C channels for consumer goods as well as his own product, Kava Kava Candy selling throughout the U.S. including 30+ countries world-wide. His newest project involves raising money for orphanges through Orfanatics.

He holds multiple trademarks as well as a patent and continues to work on special projects of interest. Steve graduated from U.C. Berkeley in Environmental Economics & Policy and an MBA from the University of Hawaii Shidler College of Business.

After earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from the University of Hawaii (UH), Stacy received her doctorate in curriculum studies, with an interest in place-based education (a method that immerses students in their local environment). She has been teaching for over 30 years (3rd Grade – 6th Grade) with the last 5 years as a professor at the university (UH). Stacy loves teaching and connecting educational resources all over the island to help our children grow.
