Georgia's Geographic Regions and Habitats

Georgia has five geographic regions. These regions of land are different based upon:

• the kind of landforms found there (like mountains or coasts)
• the kind of soil found there (like sandy soils or clay soils)
• the kind of rocks found there
• the height of the land (is it close to sea-level or are there tall mountains?)
