“The Beauty of Becoming” — A GCPT Benevity Cause Campaign

The Beauty of Becoming is GCPT’s 2026 Benevity Cause Campaign dedicated to uplifting and celebrating GED students of the Pangaea Institute for Education. With a goal of raising $7,000, this campaign directly supports the 2026 GED Graduation Ceremony—an important milestone for students whose educational journeys have required extraordinary resilience, persistence, and courage.

Funds raised will help GCPT provide:

• • •  Venue rental, décor, and ceremony enhancements that honor graduates with dignity and pride

    •  Catering and transportation support to ensure students and families can fully participate

    •  Professional headshots that position graduates for future academic and career opportunities

    •  A $50 gift card for each Class of 2026 graduate as a tangible investment in their next steps

At its core, The Beauty of Becoming campaign seeks to shift the public narrative. GED students are often overlooked, yet they embody determination, adaptability, and the power of second chances. GCPT aims to affirm these students as worthy—worthy of investment, worthy of visibility, and worthy of opportunity.

This campaign will amplify their voices through:

•  Video vignettes featuring students sharing what “worth” means to them 

•  Social media storytelling that highlights their journeys, strengths, and aspirations

•  Community partnership building to secure mentors, scholarships, externships, and employment pathways
