George Scorsis has over 15 years of experience leading companies in highly regulated industries to rapid growth, including the global energy drink business. As the former President of Red Bull Canada, George was instrumental in restructuring the organization from a geographical and operational perspective, growing the business to $150MM in revenue.

Earning his Bachelor in Administrative Studies from York University, George’s interest in the alcoholic beverage industry peaked while learning the ropes as a University Ambassador for Bacardi Canada and holding several executive roles. During this time he also went on to earn an MBA at Queen's University.

Among his accomplishments, George Scorsis most recently began serving as chairman of AWAKN Life Sciences Inc. corporate board, which is a a UK and European Union focused company that is dedicated to integrating psychedelics into mental healthcare.

He also served as Founder and Chairman of Tassili Life Sciences who worked to develop effective psilocybin-based therapeutics for the treatment of mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI) and/or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The company is doing this in partnership with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and physicians at the University of Miami.
