We are aware of female underrepresentation: generally, in the field (below 25% within STEM for post-PhD level, as per UNESCO’s latest global figures in their 2022-2023 Gender Equality report) and particularly, in our research group (29%). Beyond social justice, we acknowledge the demonstrated positive effect of diversity in fostering original breakthroughs to long-standing scientific problems. We are firmly committed to creating an egalitarian research atmosphere and to promoting our group with views on the future inclusion of more female researchers
