The first edition of the Geometry Space Surrey workshop will take place on June 8-10 2026, at the University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom.

Organised by the Surrey Space Centre, Geometry Space Surrey is a workshop focused on applications of symplectic geometry to astrodynamics and space mission design.

Being the first event of this magnitude to gather the two communities, the goal is to expose the audience to a wide range of ideas and techniques from both symplectic geometry and space engineering, through 5 keynote presentations and more than 20 research talks, spanning over 3 days, and followed by a tour of the facilities of Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL), a spinout of the University of Surrey.
