Geometry Space Surrey 2026
Geometry Space Surrey 2026
The first edition of Geometry Space Surrey took place on June 8-11 2026, at the University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom.
Organised by the Surrey Space Centre, Geometry Space Surrey is a workshop that focused on applications of symplectic geometry to astrodynamics and space mission design.
Being the first event of this magnitude to gather the two communities, the goal was to expose the audience to a wide range of ideas and techniques from both symplectic geometry and space engineering, through 5 keynote presentations, one mini-course, and 20 research talks, spanning over 3 days. These were followed by a guided tour of the facilities of SSTL (Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd), an international expert in small satellite manufacturing which span out from the University of Surrey.
