President Bush will welcome His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed AlNahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAEArmed Forces, to Camp David on November 16, 2008. The President looksforward to discussing with the Crown Prince the strong bilateralrelationship between the United States and the UAE, stability in the Gulf,and a range of regional issues.# # #
The Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC) recently announced new procedural regulations of arbitration. These will come as a welcome move to those companies, predominantly Abu Dhabi-based, which contractually agree to refer their disputes to ADCCAC for resolution. The new regulations are undoubtedly more in line with international procedure than the previous ADCCAC rules: this will boost user confidence in ADCCAC.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke today with Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Mr. Sullivan congratulated Sheikh Khaled on his recent appointment and welcomed the opportunity to work with him and his team. The two sides discussed the ambitious U.S.-UAE agenda this year, including the Partnership for Accelerating Clean Energy (PACE) and the COP 28 climate summit.
