This course introduces definitions and properties of basic facts about Linear Algebra to the students in engineering departments who have already taken Calculus courses, and induce them to examples and problems related to applications in engineering area so that they acquire basic concepts and fundamental knowledge of linear algebra and build up the ability to deal with various problems which they will encounter in their major fields.

On the basis proper concepts and understanding of mathematics, this course teaches higher mathematical theories and application methods needed in science and engineering departments, so that students build up mathematical knowledge, logical reasoning and applying which will be used in the study of major area.
To introduce the basic terminology of differential equations and to briefly examine how differential equations arise in an attempt to describe or model physical phenomena in mathematical terms.

Understanding the evaluation procedures of bearing capacity and settlements for shallow and deep foundations.
Understanding the behavior of geomaterials during foundation construction.
Executing the design of shallow and deep foundation.
토목지질학 │ Geology for Civil Engineering
This course provides basic concepts and better understandings of rock behaviors and properties; furthermore, it includes various construction methods for underground facilities and tunnels. In addition, this course covers how to estimate the stability of rock mass and it gives many practical geology-related- examples.
건설종합설계 │ Construction Design
The class offers a comprehensive design that includes the domain areas of water resource, soil, and construction management. Each group should select a topic for the design term project. The students should understand the knowledge required to carry out the term project, and using the knowledge, to provide a better solution. In a report, the team should demonstrate the improvement of engineering value.
