I am currently a lecturer in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. As a teacher, I am interested in fostering a growth mindset in my students in a field that desperately needs it. In the classroom I am interested in discovery-based learning and universal design. More about my teaching here.
My research interests lie in harmonic analysis, specifically in problems where geometry plays a key role, such as Fourier restriction, regularity of averaging operators, and applications of these ideas to differential equations and number theory. You can read more about my research here.
Prior to working at the U, I was an Instructional Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University. I received my Ph.D. in 2021 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; my Ph.D. advisor was Andreas Seeger. Before that I spent my undergraduate years at St. Olaf College. You can find my CV here.
