I am currently an Instructional Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Northwestern University.
As a teacher, I am interested in fostering a growth mindset in my students in a field that desperately needs it. In the classroom I am interested in discovery-based learning and universal design. More about my teaching here.
My research interests lie in harmonic analysis, specifically in problems where geometry plays a key role, such as Fourier restriction, regularity of averaging operators, and applications of these ideas to differential equations and number theory. You can read more about my research here.
Prior to Northwestern, I received my Ph.D. in 2021 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; my Ph.D. advisor was Andreas Seeger. Before that I spent my undergraduate years at St. Olaf College. You can find my CV here.
