The multidisciplinary research lab LAKSHA-GEOLAB has been established in honour of Professor Lakshami Prasad Lakhera (GURU JI). With an emphasis on rural development, health, migration brought on by climate change, and land use changes, it specialises in finding the gap in applied geospatial research, human geography, and spatial demography, Election Census, Climate Opinion, Poverty, and Policy Research. The lab analyzes and communicates intricate demographic and environmental patterns using sophisticated cartographic techniques and data visualization tools. Our objective is to produce useful information that will help sustainable policies and enhance the standard of living for vulnerable communities in the Himalayas.
