SOIL ROCKS COMPETITION
The Regina Geotechnical Group (RGG) (in partnership with Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)) invites all students currently registered in any school, college, technical institute, or university in Saskatchewan to participate in the “Soil Rocks” Competition. The goal is to have some fun while raising awareness and interest in the field of Geotechnical Engineering.

The “Soil Rocks” Competition requires the students to submit engaging videos related to the field of geotechnical (soil and rock) engineering. The complexity of the video can vary and will largely be dependent on the category. Example videos for University and College Students are also available here. Younger students can make age appropriate videos that are simple and straightforward. The competition categories are as follows:
*NOTE: All awards will be limited to the dollar amount shown, irrespective of whether it is an individual or a group submission.
Each category will be evaluated independently by the RGG Executive Team. The winners, after being notified by email, will be announced and awarded at the GeoCelebration 2020 event to be held in Regina on March 5, 2020.
The participants shall follow the rules outlined below.
