"Challenges and Rewards; Reflections on 5 Decades of geotechnical practice" by Dr. Wayne Clifton

Dr. Wayne Clifton, P.Eng. is CEO and Senior Principal of Clifton Associates Ltd. He has over 40 years of experience on a wide range of projects in the domestic and international markets. He is a strategic advisor to industry and governments on engineering and policy issues, particularly in the fields of transportation, environmental management, and resource development. Dr. Clifton is a Civil Engineer with graduate degrees in transportation and geotechnical engineering and was a Canadian pioneer in environmental management, including leading development of the Saskatchewan Environmental Code, the first results-based regulatory framework in North America, in addition he has had a lengthy involvement in the research and engineering education sectors and has received numerous awards in recognition of his contributions to the profession.
