Girl Scouts

The Girl Scout organization has included geocaching in Girl Scouts because geocaching highlights many of the aspects that Girl Scouts truly appreciate. These aspects consist of navigation, exploration, environmental care, along with critical and creative thinking. Geocaching is also similar to letterboxing, another outdoor activity used by Girl Scouts.

I, a Cadette Girl Scout, have found a love for geocaching through Girl Scouts. If you are a girl who enjoys geocaching, then I would definitely recommend joining Girl Scouts. First of all, there is a badge for geocaching! I have earned this badge myself and I am helping girls in a younger troop earn theirs as well. Furthermore, many Girl Scout activities are similar to geocaching. Girl Scouts is all about being adventurous and trying something new.
