I am currently persuing my PhD in Geodynamics from Earth and Climate Sciences (ECS)IISER Pune, as CSIR-MoES JRF fellow. After completing my 5-year Integrated BSMS Dual Degree Programme with a major in Geological Sciences from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, I have worked as a Research Assistant at ECS, IISER Pune from August 2024 to July 2025. My academic journey has cultivated a deep passion for Solid Earth Geophysics and Geodynamics.
My research interests lie in exploring the crustal structure and its profound implications on lithospheric deformation and plate-boundary dynamics. By integrating geodynamic modellings, seismology, thermodynamics, and empirical approaches, I aim to quantitatively interpret temperature estimates, seismic velocity anomalies, density anomalies etc providing insights into the Earth's interior's physical state. My goal is to bridge the gap between temperature, compositional variations, and mineral physics, ultimately enhancing our understanding of the geodynamic processes shaping our planet.
